Angela Walker

Prior to being named Acting Co-Director of ACE of NEPA’s Early Learning Program in August of 2022,  Angela was the Assistant Director of the program, overseeing daily program operations of the Head Start, Early Head Start, and Pre-K Counts Programs.

Angela has been involved in the field of early childhood education for over 25 years.  She has held various positions within the program since beginning working for ACE of NEPA in 2005,  including Itinerant teacher, Education Coordinator, and Transition Manager.  During her time with the program, Angela has been involved in both community and program initiatives focused on early education and literacy, and strengthening transition processes between programs and into the public school system.

Angela is a 1996 graduate from East Stroudsburg University where she obtained her Bachelors’ degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

When she is not working, Angela enjoys baking, reading, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their two sons.
